Tuning

If the overall piano is flat (or sharp), a preliminary estimated tuning ($75) is required, one that overshoots (or undershoots) pitch just enough that the piano lands on pitch when done. A piano tends to go flat over time, so this process is generally called a "pitch raise".

When at pitch, fine-tuning can be achieved in one pass ($225). If not tuned in more than a year, 2 passes may be needed (a pitch raise and a tuning), not tuned in many years, 3.

Repairs or material/part replacement are charged at cost + labor ($150/hour).
